Summary:

With the end of the Brexit transition period and the commencement of the EU-UK trade deal on 1st January 2021, there have been many media reports of the potential challenges for business in Northern Ireland, particularly in relation to trade with the rest of the UK. But with these challenges, are there not also opportunities, particularly for foreign investment, from Northern Ireland's unique position?

This webinar will discuss a range of issues in relation to the impact on the Northern Ireland economy and business environment, including:

  • The opportunities and challenges for Northern Ireland of trading with the EU and GB
  • The challenges for companies in the Republic of Ireland, particularly in border communities
  • The opportunities for Hong Kong businesses in NI (case study to demonstrate NI's talent and value, a great location for 'on-shoring' your supply chain, partnership with government agency and academics)

During the session, you will also have the opportunity to ask the speakers questions.

Details on how to join will be sent via email by 5pm the day before the webinar.
